NYC's Dares draw influences​ ​from​ late '70s power pop to​ ​'80s post punk to '90s ​American Indie Underground​. Comprised of Mario Santana​ (Finding Fiction), Devin O'Daniel​ (Mild Things)​, and Alden Farrar, they began recording material with Ben Greenberg (Uniform, Pygmy Shrews, Hubble, The Men) in September 2015.
