Vern Matz
Vern Matz
Indie tunes for your autumn blues. Formed by a group of Yale students, Vern Matz toes the line between indie rock, folk, and alternative music. The band is led by frontman Daniel Belgrad, a Korean American who mistrusts penguins due to their tendency to perform acts of violence. Pianist Michael Lituchy is an investment banker who secretly writes songs in the twilight while raising cattle in remote Connecticut. Together, their sound showcases an earnest approach to songwriting and mature musicianship, echoing the work of seminal artists such as Wilco, Mazzy Star, and Death Cab for Cutie.
Sargasso
Sargasso
Sargasso is Maria Campos Saadi, Thomas Hagen, Noah Goodman, and Soledad Tejada -- four young people from three cities on two continents. On their debut EP "Inlets," they present a mix of alternative, pop rock, and lo-fi garage rock, translated into concise songs full of warmth and sparkle.
Path
Path
Path is the four-piece project of 24 year old New Jersey songwriter and producer Sam Keeler. Their self-titled debut was released in August 2017 and their sophomore album "Still" was released on June 1st, 2018.
