Chocolate hails from San Gabriel, Ca. and plays guitar driven, melodic, indie rock. The group was formed by childhood friends, Saul Sanchez (Vocals + Guitar), Jason Suh (Guitar), Dave Alva (Bass), and Karlos Mejia (Drums). Heavily involved in the LA underground scene at the time, the group made a name for itself within the DIY punk community and continues today in delivering its unique sound without losing any momentum.

In 2005, they release their first LP “I Never Meant to Hurt Anyone Except For You” which received heavy attention from fans of artists such as Weezer, Far, and Hum. In support of the album, the band toured and performed at venues such as Troubadour, Spacelands, various venues on the Sunset Strip, local record stores, and college radio stations throughout the states. In 2016, after a 10yr hiatus, the group released its first EP titled, “Lunch Special.” Album was recorded at Kingsize Soundlabs in Eagle Rock, Ca and mastered by the legendary Dave Trumfio. Since the release, the band has been reunited and back to touring and performing as much as possible.
