The Georgia Flood
The Georgia Flood
Groove-heavy and Genre-bending, The Georgia Flood’s music has evolved over the years. On their 2016 debut album, People Like Ourselves, the band drew on indelible melodies, clever lyrics, and an infectious energy; weaving together an EP that hit all the right notes. The first single from that album, “Whistle King,” found its way onto playlists across the country and landed the band a 32-date national tour. “Better Not Together,” from that same EP, was selected by Starbucks to play in their stores across the country.
Self-financed and self-produced, the band recruited Damon Moon at Standard Electric Recordings in the Atlanta suburb of Decatur to engineer three new songs, each being released over the next several months as singles.

The first of those releases is the addictive new song, “Take A Hit,” which is being released on July 14.

Fronted by brothers, Lane Kelly (bass, backing vocals) and Brooks Mason (guitar, lead vocals), the centerpiece of The Georgia Flood began playing when they were seven and nine years old respectively. Hustling birthday parties and family reunions the brothers changed sounds numerous times through their teens. Rounding out the band are Gavin Deleshaw (guitar) and Damian Navarro (drums). Drawing on their exploration of numerous genres, their songwriting channels classic guitar driving riffs with modern pop sensibilities.
SkyDaddy is a jazz-funk-rock fusion band from downstate New York. With catchy hooks, memorable messaging and a knack for improvisation, SkyDaddy could be described as a “funky festival jam band, but with sing-along lyrics.” Live performances blend genres and styles, ranging from jazz/pop tunes like Just Enough Wine to EWI-driven space funk jams and mashups. SkyDaddy is comprised of Tom Clancey (guitar, vocals), Dave Heinz (bass, vocals), Pat Agresta (drums) and Joe North (sax/EWI).
